Curriculum
Students in SMBA are required to earn a minimum of 45 credits for the degree within 1 year - 3 semesters - 5 modules program duration. In the spring semester, students take mandatory courses in business: based on 7 subjects. These courses are well defined in our MBA programs. In the fall semester, students have the opportunity to choose either courses or business case writing project.
During the summer semester, Global Seminar will be offered and students will be given the opportunity to take courses from overseas universities around Asia. These intensive courses allow professors and scholars throughout Asia to communicate their research and share their ideas to give SMBA students a truly global perspective on current business issues (subject to change due to COVID-19 situations).
In the SMBA program, there are 2 different tracks (General, Corporate Sponsor) that are designed to serve the various needs of students. General Track is designed to enable students to have knowledge in the most current business areas to become a well-prepared entry level manager, and to extend the opportunities by facilitating future career growth through knowledge-based community service, group projects and business case writing. The Corporate Sponsor Track is designed to serve students whose studies are sponsored by their own company. The track offers a back-to-work internship to promote cooperation between academia and industry by providing students opportunities to resolve on-site issues through applying theories to practical affairs.
