Program Overview

G-MBA program at Sogang University, which includes a full-time MBA Global track and a Chinese-taught MBA program, aims to nurture globally-minded students. By integrating domestic MBA and global MBA courses, students are free to choose classes in Chinese, Korean, or English, thus breaking language barriers. This multilingual approach maximizes students' creative analytical abilities and enhances their international leadership skills. G-MBA program offers three specialized tracks to cultivate professionals who can adapt to rapidly changing business environments.

Specialization Tracks

Business Management : Students will learn about marketing, human resource management, and international business to understand internal and external business activities. This track is designed to produce business management professionals who can make informed decisions and conduct comprehensive business analyses. Additionally, students will gain a systematic understanding of international business environments to become globally capable professionals who can adapt to dynamic international markets. Each semester, students will have the opportunity to visit well-known Korean companies like Samsung and Lotte to observe and learn about business operations firsthand, enhancing their understanding of management and business practices.

Financial Management : Through systematic learning in finance and financial management, students will understand the principles of capital credit, basic knowledge of financial institutions and policies, and fundamentals of capital and risk markets. The program develops skills to identify and solve financial problems. In response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution's impact on the finance industry, the curriculum also focuses on digital finance to cultivate financial professionals who are at the forefront of their field. Located in Sinchon, Seoul, near the Yeouido Finance Center — often referred to as Korea's Wall Street — and only five minutes from Korea's Silicon Valley in Gongdeok-dong, students have ample opportunities for site visits and internships. The hands-on experiences ensure students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Media & Arts Management : This track is designed to cultivate talent capable of navigating the complex changes and opportunities within the media and arts sectors. As a powerhouse in media and arts, Korea wields significant influence in these fields. Students will engage in theoretical studies of media and arts while developing skills to manage the entire range of business activities from planning to production. This specialization aims to produce media arts management professionals equipped with a comprehensive and practical skill set.
