2. Qualification : The status of foreign applicants is as follows.
Foreign applicants are |
those who have citizenship of foreign countries including parents. Or, those whose parents don’t have foreign citizenships must have graduated elementary, middle, high school and university (or be expected to graduate from an accredited four-year college before July) in the foreign country. * Overseas applicants who do not meet these qualifications must apply for admission for Koreans. |
3. Required Documents
· Completed application form download with 3 photos attached and 3 extra photos(3.5 X 4.5cm)
· Letter of recommendation download from at least 1 professor or office senior etc.
· Official graduation certificates (1 copy); bachelor’s and master’s
· Career and employment certificate (if applicable) (1 copy)
· Career and study plan (Sogang University’s official form) (1 copy)
· Official English proficiency test certificates (if applicable) (1 copy) (TOEIC, TOEFL, GMAT: test score within 2 years can attribute, depending on the score)
· Application fee: 90,000 won or $80 (US dollars)
· Letter of recommendation download from at least 1 professor or office senior etc.
(The person who can objectively evaluate the applicant)
* Recommendation should be written in SBS’s own form.
· Official transcripts (1 copy); bachelor’s and master’s (Transfer students: official transcripts before and after university transfer; Dual majors: official transcript for each major)* Recommendation should be written in SBS’s own form.

* When you make a remittance, the remittance commission is in your charge.
* After you remit the fee to our bank account, please email to gsbu@sogang.ac.kr
* For Chinese students, besides the requirements above, we need the certificate of graduation, household(of all family members including you), and the copy of your Identification Card.
· One copy of a Verification of Deposit (over $10,000) of the person responsible for student’s expenses Balance ($10,000). If you don’t have Korean visa at the time of application, you must submit the verification of deposit. The deposit amount of $10,000 must be maintained within the selected account for a minimum of one month.* When you make a remittance, the remittance commission is in your charge.

* For Chinese students, besides the requirements above, we need the certificate of graduation, household(of all family members including you), and the copy of your Identification Card.
* If the owner of bank account is not you, we also need the official certificate of relationship.
* If you are under a F-4 visa, you don’t need to submit the Verification of Deposit.

ACCEPTED STUDENTS – preparing to enroll
1. Tuition fee
The tuition for 2015 Fall is around 9.5 million won, not including enrollment fee.
2. Housing
Dormitory: about $1,582 per semester (based on 2011) application for dormitory and medical certificate is needed in advance. Boarding House: about $310 ~ $400 per month
3. Scholarship
Department of Global Service Management offers full scholarship and additional research grant to full time doctoral students for their academic achievement and financially supports all international students according for their academic achievement and English proficiency.Application Distribution and Management Office
